Welcome to Planetary Carbon Standard (PCS), the carbon standard developed by SPE for assessing, monitoring, estimating, verifying, and validating carbon sequestration of afforestation and reforestation projects, as well as evaluating carbon negative effects of Renewable energy projects, from small to large scale, all around the world.

At PCS, we recognize the importance of addressing climate change and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to mitigate its negative impacts on the planet and future generations. That's why we have developed PCS as a simplified version of existing carbon standards, with the aim of making it accessible and understandable to anyone who wants to contribute to achieving negative carbon emissions and promote sustainable development.

Our multi-disciplinary, experienced technical team has used internationally recognized standards as a baseline to create PCS, which covers all types of GHG emissions and can be applied to various projects, regardless of their size or location. Our methodologies use advanced technologies, such as remote sensing mechanisms, satellite images, LiDAR, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, to improve the accuracy of the validation and verification process, while making monitoring more convenient and accessible for project owners.

At PCS, we want to encourage people from all over the world to become aware of their carbon footprint and push nations towards being "Carbon Negative" rather than just "Carbon Neutral". We also want to share the benefits of carbon credits with small-scale planters and renewable energy project developers, so that everyone can participate in this global effort to reduce emissions and mitigate climate change.
